Entering the Catacombs... Mom and Rita in entryway.
An attempt at showing you the depth of the bones... they go back about 30 feet at this point.
Amother shot to show how many bones are preserved in the catacombs... and how neatly.
The builders of the catacombs had a little too much fun... a heart and a cross formed from skulls.
An altar: mass is still said in the catacombs on occasion... An inscription in one section.
